December 24, 2004 - A=

has been started and water is beginning to open up. 14 'Thin Ice' signs have
been posted around the aerator and open water; 3 'Warning' signs have been
posted by the most common entrances to the lake (I-94 b=
ridge
over Elm Creek;
December 17 - 4 red w=

flags placed on aerator to help reduce number of 911 calls local and state
police have been receiving from passersby on I-94 suspecting the aerator is=
a
person stuck in the water. Aerator still not turned on yet.

reached average maximum of 5.5 feet below normal.
November 7 - Due to belated drawdown sta=
rt (2
weeks late), cleanup project scheduled for October 30th was obviously
cancelled. Residents are asked to conduct their own cleanup efforts along t=
heir
shorelines when possible and convenient.
