NOTE: Effective December 2008, the DNR recognizes Rice Lake as being reported as 2 seperate bays - East Bay is the main part of the lake; West Bay is the portion west of I-94 bridge when Elm Creek enters.

This is due to the extreme difference in water clarity between the 2 areas (West Bay being much better than main lake).
