Thanks to the dam on Elm Creek north of the lake, there has not been a problem with water level (except during drawdowns).
To date, there has not been a problem with Eurasian Watermilfoil infestations on Rice Lake.

CLMP
CLMP (Citizen Lake Monitoring Program) measures water clarity and temperature for lakes.
CSMP
CSMP (Citizen Stream Monitoring Program) measures the water clarity and temperature for creeks/streams.
CAMP
CLMP+
CAMP (Citizen Assisted Monitoring Program) measures the water nutrient, clarity, and temperature for lakes. (Rice Lake was only able to participate in this program from 2008-2011)
CLMP+ (Citizen Lake Monitoring Plus Program) expands the CLMP to include more nutrient data plus Dissolved Oxygen (DO) for lakes.
Rice Lake was only able to participate in this program for 2 years (2010-2011).
